A pair of  painted 19th century artist palettes by Carl Gerber (1839-1866), both signed. One decorated with a study of kittens, the other an anthropomorphic study of a dog. Provenance, from the estate of the late Gabriella Grillo, a German businesswoman and olympic gold medallist at the 1976 Montreal games.
