A pair of mid century French lions, circa 1960, reconstituted stone nicely aged and weathered featuring two seated lions with one paw on a shield, raised on rectangular bases. Extremely good quality, highly detailed particularly to their manes and tails. The oval shaped shields are decorated with a French fleur de lys, a symbol of French royalty. Highly decorative items that would grace any room or garden or added to pillars at a property's entrance. 39cms in height
